TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.1 When making a booking you will be required to pay a non-refundable reservation fee/deposit using either a credit or a debit card. The amount of the reservation fee/deposit will depend on the total cost of your booking and will range from £0.50 £1.50.

 The reservation fee/deposit will be debited from your card which will be deducted from your final bill once you have received your treatment.

1.2 Your makeup booking date is confirmed only once we have received your booking deposit payment

 1.3 Once the deposit is received you will receive a booking confirmation document confirming the details of your booking

1.3A You can cancel or change your booking online in My Booking History up to 24 hours in advance of your visit. If you fail to adhere to the cancellation policy as stated under the terms and conditions the business has the right to charge you the balance of your booking amount left to pay in the salon by way of your online payment method.

1.4 Any discount applied at booking only applies at this time and does not apply when adding on extra services at a later date.

 1.5 All further payments after the booking deposit (at your bridal trial or before the wedding) are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled less than 6 weeks before the wedding date.

 1.6 We take a 50% deposit of the remaining balance at the trial and the balance one week before the wedding date. This is paid directly to the artist.

 1.7 We reserve the right to insist on a minimum bridal booking party size during our busy months and on Saturdays.

 1.8 If you would like to reduce the size of your booking once the deposit has been paid this is at the discretion of the makeup artist

 1.9 For wedding bookings the cost of the artist’s travel is covered by the bride. Travel is charged at 40p a mile after 10 miles from the artist’s postcode and the same for the return journey.

1.9a for occasional Makeup there is a minimum callout fee to your home or location.

2.0 If the artist is travelling by public transport the artist will give you a quote for this.

 2.1 Parking costs are chargeable to the client

 2.2 Travel is calculated at the trial by your artist. We will be able to give you an estimate at time of booking.

 2.3 If your artist has to travel for more than 2 hours from their home address for your wedding the artist may request you book them accommodation the night before. Ask your artist for details.

 2.4 The trial is normally 1-4 months before the wedding date and is either at the artist’s home or salon. They may be able to come to your home. Your artist will be able to advise you of their availability and location.

 

2.5 During busy periods it might not always be possible for us to schedule trials at the weekend, particularly Saturdays. Your artist will be able to advise you of availability.

 2.6 If you would like to have your trial at your home then travel is charged by the artist at the rate stated above.

 2.7 If were not happy at trial with your makeup and choose not to go forward with your booking you will receive back the deposit minus the cost of the trial at £45 for makeup. If your deposit was less than the cost of your trial then the difference is owed directly to the artist (plus any travel charges).

 2.8 It is the client’s responsibility to inform the artist of any allergies, medical conditions or sensitives.

 2.9 Photographic/video images of the client, members of the booking or event may be used by the artist on social media unless the client has expressly withdrawn their consent in writing.

 3.0 If a second makeup trial is requested the same fee applies as for the first trial.

 3. Strip lashes application is included in the price for the makeup service; there is no reduction in price for any makeup service if they are declined.

 3.2 The packages include a trial for the bride only. However, trials for other bridal party members can be added on for an extra cost.

 3.3 The client is still liable to pay for the makeup trial even if they do not want to proceed with booking the artist for their wedding.
